About

Land fraud is solvable. We're here to prove it.

A single bad land deal can wipe out a family's savings — 5 to 50 million FCFA lost in a forged title, a boundary dispute, or a seller who never owned the land. In Cameroon's most active cities — Douala, Yaoundé, Bamenda, Buea, Bafoussam — this is still a weekly occurrence.

Why we exist

The pieces needed to stop this fraud exist today: registries, surveyors, lawyers, notaries, and traditional authorities. But they don't talk to each other. Each actor verifies a small part of the problem. The buyer is left to assemble the truth across offices, queues, and phone numbers — and is often the one who pays when anything slips through.

ApexX exists to fill that coordination gap. We're not another registry and we don't replace the government. We're the trust layer on top — combining title authenticity checks, seller identity matching, and boundary monitoring into a single workflow that protects both sides of a transaction.

What "verified" means on ApexX

Every verification runs three checks: legal (is the title authentic and unique?), physical (does the boundary match and is there an overlap?), and identity (is the seller who they claim to be?). We roll those into a plain risk level — Low, Medium, High — so you don't need a lawyer to interpret the result.

Our operating principles

  • Human-in-the-loop by default. Our team reviews every submission. Automation helps us move faster but never makes the final call.
  • Consent is mandatory. Verified reports are never shared without the owner's explicit approval — that's what the 30-character access code is for.
  • Every action is tracked. Transfers create an immutable chain of custody, and duplicate submissions trigger alerts to affected users.
  • Your documents stay yours. Encrypted at rest and in transit, accessible only to the ApexX agents handling your specific case.

Where we're going

We started with manual verification and a simple database. Next we're layering in automated duplicate detection, fraud scoring refinements, and integrations with government data sources as they open up. Longer term, we're partnering with surveyors and legal offices so a single ApexX report becomes the first thing every buyer asks for and every seller offers.
